This area is famous for historical and current illegal sapphire
mining. This area has been historically famous for precious stones
(sapphire and izerine) which makes it still attractive for
individual searchers. Currently any mining activities are strictly
forbidden. 3D model enabled to study past systematic mining in
this area, including estimation of number of stones obtained.
